We are pleased to announce that the members of the Mississippi State Tax Commission Credit Union voted to merge with Mississippi Federal Credit Union. The effective date of the merger was May 1, 2018. Combining these two organizations will result in a credit union with over $120 million in assets, 20,000+ members, 5 branch locations, more products and services, access to over 5,600 nationwide shared branch locations, and a dedicated member service call center.

Why Merge
Our combined resources will provide a wider branching network and greater access to the products and services to meet the evolving technological and e-banking needs of our members, competitive rates, business accounts, and more expansive loan and checking account offerings including real estate and business lending.

Staff and Locations
The combined credit union will, like always, remain a member-owned and locally operated credit union focused on meeting the needs of the entire membership. All of our current staff and locations will remain in place will continue to provide you excellence in member service. The SouthPointe branch located in the Department of Revenue building will extend its hours beginning July 1. The new hours will be 8am – 4pm Monday thru Friday.

What Now
The integration of the two credit unions is complete and if you were a member of Mississippi State Tax Commission you are a member with Mississippi Federal Credit Union. There is no need to complete any additional member application. Your payroll deduction / direct deposit will automatically transfer to Mississippi Federal Credit Union. At this time Mississippi Federal Credit Union’s entire product and services suite is available to you including:

  • Checking Accounts
  • Lending Products
  • Credit Cards
  • Online Banking
  • Mobile Deposit (included with our mobile app)
  • Business Services

The SouthPointe location is equipped with an ATM located in the café for your convenience and cash withdrawal purposes.
